A Different Kind of Gallery

Most galleries show many artists at once. The Showroom turns that inside out: for seven weeks at a time, the entire space belongs to one featured artist — a near-solo exhibition where you can experience the full breadth of a single creative voice, from signature large-scale works to intimate pieces, thoughtfully installed and personally presented.

Official Opening Night — Saturday, August 1 · 5–7pm. Join us for a festive evening celebrating Nina K, with wine, champagne, and the full exhibition on view.

Croatia-born, Florida-based abstract expressionist Nina K (Nina Kolarek-Cullen) paints in explosive color — thick, sculptural layers of oil built into rich textures across large-scale canvases up to six feet wide. Before devoting herself fully to painting, Nina K rose to prominence as an award-winning New York fashion designer whose label was featured in Vogue, Elle, and Glamour; that lifelong command of color, design, and texture now lives on canvas.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries from Laguna Beach to Sarasota and collected across the United States and abroad. This exhibition gathers her newest large-scale works in one immersive installation.

Also on view: grind aluminum paintings by Curtis Patchin, alongside a few select works that round out the space — though the spotlight always belongs to the featured artist.
